How To Get Set Up To Use CVS In Read-Only Mode (To Obtain The Most Current Version Of Source Code) From A Windows Platform

• First, be sure that you really need the newest source code.  It may be adequate to download and expand the source code for the latest release from the file release page, then to get any relevant changed files from the web view of the CVS archives.  Using this method, it may be possible to escape using CVS entirely.
• If it ends up to be necessary to use CVS to obtain source code (but not to change anything in the repository, i.e. to use CVS in read-only mode), we do not have any experience with this.  If you know how to do this, we would be grateful for written instructions.  Please e-mail Dave Ashley.
